Today, I will share with you a case study of a cleanroom air shower.
The cleanroom air shower is a necessary passage to enter the clean room and is widely used in industries such as food workshops, precision electronics, pharmaceuticals, etc.
And the customer solution we want to share is a case study of an air shower room in a food factory. This factory was established in 2019 and mainly produces food seasonings, beverages, infant formula, and so on.They need cleanroom air shower.

Ordinary air shower rooms are used for personnel to shower, usually with a manually operated single door and equipped with a door closer. However, different workshop environments have different requirements, resulting in various designs of air shower doors.

At first, the client approached us to design a double door.
The advantage of a double door design is mainly that when personnel pass through, only one door needs to be opened. If large items or multiple people need to pass through, the other door can be opened.
Due to limited workshop space, the size reserved for the air shower room is also limited, which results in a very small space on one side of the door after being made into a double door design. This means that both doors need to be opened each time to allow people to pass through.
So, how about making it a single door directly?Regarding cleanroom air shower
No, if it is directly made into a single door, the entire door will be too large and the hinge load will be very high.
Therefore, we came up with a third option, which is the design of the mother child gate. The so-called mother child door refers to two asymmetrical doors, with one side being the main door and the other side being the small door. The main door is usually called the mother door, and the small door is called the child door.

This design solves the problem of two doors being too small compared to a double door air shower. In daily use, only the mother door needs to be opened, and when large items are needed, both doors can be opened at the same time. This design solves the shortcomings of symmetrical double doors, saving daily opening area, reducing hinge load, and achieving more flexible use of air shower rooms.
After receiving this proposal, the customer was very satisfied and, after some discussion, quickly finalized the plan. The material of the air shower room is selected as all stainless steel, and the glass window has also changed from a standard square to an oval shape, making it more beautiful and generous.
Finally, we produced this air shower at the fastest production speed, and after obtaining the customer’s consent, we immediately arranged for professional technicians to come and install it, successfully completing the project.
