Hello everyone, this is Baihong Purification. As a critical purification channel for personnel or items entering the clean room, the normal operation of the air shower room is crucial. If you encounter a situation where the air shower is not blowing, there is no need to panic. This guide will take you through a quick self check.
When the air shower is not blowing, please follow the following steps to troubleshoot:
(1) Check the status of the door:
*Firstly, check if the door is fully closed in place.
*Method: Compare the graphical indicators on the air shower control panel (usually with door status icons). One of the most common reasons for not blowing air is that the door is not closed properly.
(2) Check the door magnetic sensor:
*Door magnets are usually installed on door frames. Check if the door magnet is damaged, detached, or displaced.
*Reason: If the door magnet fails and the system cannot detect that the door is locked, the blowing program will not be activated.
(3) Check the electric lock on the door body:
*Check if the door lock is damaged.
*Reason: If the door is not tightly closed or the electric lock is faulty, it may cause the door magnet to be unable to align correctly or the signal to fail. The system will determine that the door is not closed properly, and therefore will not start the air blowing.
(4) Check the photoelectric sensor:
*Observe whether the photoelectric sensors (usually located on both sides of the air shower room) light up normally.
*Method: When personnel or goods enter the sensing area, observe whether there is a corresponding “sensing” sign appearing on the control panel.
*Reason: The sensor is damaged or the air shower object is not detected, and the air shower equipment will not start.
(5) Check the status of the emergency stop button:
*Check if the “emergency stop” indicator light on the control panel is on.
*Reason: If the air shower is in emergency stop mode, all functions will be locked, including blowing.
*Solution: If the emergency stop light is on, simply press the emergency stop button again to release the emergency stop state and restore normal working mode.
Through the above five steps of system troubleshooting, the vast majority of problems with the air shower not blowing can be discovered and resolved.
If the air shower still cannot blow air normally after completing all the above checks:
The problem is likely to lie in the control panel itself.
Solution: At this point, it is usually necessary to contact professional technicians for diagnosis and may require replacement of the control panel.
