This week, we received urgent feedback from a UAE customer that their company’s purchased air shower touch screen suddenly malfunctioned and could not adjust the air shower time. It is worth noting that this customer is not our direct partner – the equipment was purchased through a distributor. This poses a dual challenge for troubleshooting:
（1）As we produce multiple versions of touch screens, we need to remotely confirm the specific model of the device.
（2）Technical support needs to be provided across supply chain links.
2、 Problem diagnosis: Details determine success or failure
By patiently guiding customers to take photos of the control panel, we quickly identified the root cause of the problem:
(1) The device is equipped with our second-generation touch screen
(2) The screen displays a lock icon, indicating that the system is in a locked state – this is the key reason for unresponsive touch.
We immediately sent the unlocking operation video to the customer, guiding them to unlock. The customer asked how to adjust the shower time, and we also sent him the relevant video.
3、 Technological iteration: from mechanical buttons to intelligent touch control
Although the issue has been resolved, this case prompts us to take this opportunity to systematically introduce the upgrade path of the third-generation control panel to you:
(1) The first generation mechanical button panel
Advantages: Clear physical button feedback, suitable for basic scenarios.
Shortcoming: High frequency use can easily lead to button aging.
(2) Second generation touch panel (model in the case)
Upgrade point: ✓ Graphic interface (door status/emergency stop/shower progress visualization)
✓ Added lock screen function (to prevent accidental operation)
(3) Third generation intelligent panel
It also has a graphical interface, and on the basis of the second version, it has added a password management system with more stable performance. We have been using it ever since.
